Retro Pinkscape: A Closer Look at Each Sticker
Every piece in this printable sticker set was hand drawn using Tombow water-based markers, then scanned and cleaned just enough to keep the texture intact.
I was organizing my markers the other day when I realized how long it had been since I’d sat down to just experience the feel of marker on watercolor paper. It was the urge to make marks again. (I also found out you can print on Canson watercolor paper.)
Every piece in this set was hand drawn using Tombow water-based markers, then scanned and cleaned just enough to keep the texture intact. I wanted the wobble and the gritty textures.
Lately, I’ve been craving a return to grit, a sort of creativity that shows its seams. Something human derived from time, pressure, and repetition rather than an algorithm, perhaps.

Inspired by Valentine’s Day
While Valentine’s Day was the initial spark, I didn’t want this to feel overly sweet or tropey. Instead, I leaned into nostalgia, familiar objects, cozy symbols, and retro shapes: all filtered through a pink-tinted lens.
They’re not designed to be on a gallery wall. They’re meant to be used alongside other elements (like in my spreads) !
This collection also doesn't scream “perfect stickers.” I wanted to stay connected to the creative source, especially in a world that rewards glittery AI generated polish over presence.
How I’ll be using them
So excited to start layering these into my next spreads... tucked into corners, overlapping other elements, paired with handwriting and bits o' scraps.
If you’re someone who journals for the feeling of it, these were made with you in mind.

OH P.S. - These were all drawn using my Tombow water-based markers, my trusty partners that I reach for when I want color that feels soft, blendable, and a little imperfect.
